So, where have we been?
About nine months. And I know that’s a long stretch without updates, so let’s just be straight about it.

As most of you have probably seen, Arcade1Up was acquired by Basic Fun!. Normally, that kind of change is exciting — new leadership, new direction, new opportunities.

Right now though, we’re in a bit of a holding pattern.

Since the transition, those of us developing for the IGT/B platform haven’t had a way to publish new content, and communication has been minimal at best. We don’t yet have any clear contacts at Basic Fun! or any real guidance on what the future looks like for third-party developers, just silence.

So at the moment, everything is paused.

But here’s the part I think people deserve to know:

Have mostly finished the main stuff of the mobile controller for Acros - Battle of the wits. Theres some font size tweaking to be done, as well as adding a couple screens for the face off rounds, others its fully useable now. Video attached!

Got some more work done on the unity server and mobile devices acting as controllers in a unity game.. Still a long ways to go, but works amazing so far! Definitely had to look up some things to disable zooming and refreshing in a mobile browser made to do those things!

Down for a while longer. Laptop is dead, sitting with Dell support right now, they deemed it beyond economical repair (severe overheating issues among others), and now they have no comparable systems in stock to replace it with. So, all month I've been dead in the water, and looks like another week to ten days before I get anything back.. Joys.... It's not even that high end, but the only replacements they have are upgrades.. and we know that isn't going to happen. So my alienware is an aliendead....

Still need to test some more on the board itself, but sneak preview.. 4 Different difficulties, 6 players head to head. Little different than phase 10, and plays nice and smooth.

Phazed is completed. There will be no AI in this one, sorry but I've spent a lot of time thinking about it, and unless im missing something, its horribly complex. I may come back later and add it, but it needs a lot of time to not feel stupid and hacked in, so it will be released without.

No photo, but the gameplay of the the phase 10 clone is 98% done. Only thing left is game over screen. Then comes menus, player select, and all that stuff.
