Alextricity Technologies is searching for several contract-to-hire applicants for a Customer Service Technician. Strong applicants
will strongly value personalized client relationships, will have good attention to detail and documentation, and will help our
company become more effective and efficient. Applicants are expected to have a strong and multifaceted technical background.
This position will work with the Technology Coordinator and Senior Project manager. Applicants will work over the phone or
remotely from the Cabool, MO, Licking, MO, Texas, or Chicago offices. There is strong preference for the Cabool headquarters
or Licking, MO. You will often work at client sites for their projects specifically. A company vehicle may be available.
Travel Expectations:
This position will often need to travel to customer sites within town and surrounding towns for service calls. Service calls may
include residential internet installs, pc repair, commercial client work, up to possible international work depending on skillsets
and interests. Basic travel requirements should allow you to be home every day at the end of your shift unless you are interested
in out of state work or extended billable hours. Hours are generally negotiable as long as client needs are addressed.
Experience Requirements:
• High school diploma REQUIRED, college or certifications preferred, any legal age
• Verifiable knowledge of windows domains
• Networking, DNS, DHCP, basic subnet concepts
• Command line usage
• Hardware repair without guidance
• Soldering
• Windows registry and technical operating system fundamentals
• Ability to negotiate and complete sales
There will be technical skills tests which will take precedence over all other applicant data
General requirements:
• Ability to own a project and see it through completion with assistance from the project managers
• Be comfortable working directly with customers
• Being a people pleaser is important, but the applicant also needs to be able to set realistic expectations and deliver on them
• Strong motivation and organized
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Ability to research and write simple troubleshooting documentation for unfamiliar technologies quickly and effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills in the workplace, especially at client sites
• Have a history of being timely and honest
• Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment in excess of 80lbs, work in confined spaces, and bend frequently
• Stay drug free (we reserve the right to test if there are issues), safe, and courteous

Job Duties:
• General, full service support
• Answering telephone inquiries, email, and directly assist clients
• Repairing and installing products, equipment, and machinery
• Educating customers on the proper usage of their product
• Using diagnostic tools to identify issues and evaluating available information
• Fixing defective or broken products, software and services
• Servicing home-based equipment such as monitors, PC's, printers, and internet equipment
• Promoting the company's services
• Maintaining your software/hardware technical skills
• Collaborate with coworkers to propose suitable endeavors, order parts, and complete customers' tasks
• Adhere to customer (and office) imposed deadlines
• Help set our and our customers' expectations with our vast capabilities, scheduling, and costs.
• Internal office chores such as general tech support, cleaning and sorting, organization, etc
To be successful as a Customer Service Technician, you should be able to work under the leadership of and collaborate with the lead project
managers and track performance across an array of developments. You need to be able to complete all tasks assigned to you professionally and
quickly. You will need to be able to communicate with our staff so we can track project status, keeping customers informed. Being detail
oriented is absolutely critical.
