Rotary C-axis calibration setup with only a “Steady Rest” to use for mounting the modified laser stage. Unorthodox setups will work very well in challenging situations when faced with unstable platforms that are inadequate to use a tripod on.

Calibrating the A-axis Rotary Trunnion Table of this .

We could have used the the Renishaw OARS off-axis hardware and software system which we do market, sell, and supply training for in addition to all other Renishaw machine tool calibration products.

However, we believe this was a great demonstration to show how versatile and easy the Renishaw XR20-W Rotary calibrator is to use while utilizing everyday shop accessories available.
