From AI Factories and sovereign clouds to flexible Kubernetes environments, infrastructure is what makes or breaks what you build.

That’s exactly the message we brought to every conversation at the EGI conference in Belgium and Edgecase in the Netherlands last month.

Ghent is already home to an OpenNebula deployment at Ghent University, which made it a fitting place to show how OpenNebula brings cloud and HPC resources under one management platform to build and run AI Factories.

🇳🇱📍 Edgecase 2026
Edgecase was organized by our customer and partner TrueFullstaq, which uses OpenNebula for cloud-native infrastructure. The event was a great opportunity to share how our platform enables elastic Kubernetes environments and sovereign clouds on open infrastructure.

OpenNebula now integrates NVIDIA Run:ai open source software, with automated deployment and operation through OneKS, our Kubernetes service. Thanks to this, NVIDIA Cloud Partners, Neoclouds, AI Factory operators, and enterprises can easily deploy and operate NVIDIA Run:ai as part of a complete AI infrastructure platform.

As NVIDIA is making the Run:ai platform fully open source, this integration represents another step forward in our commitment to helping organizations build open, sovereign AI infrastructure, fully under their control.
