Got 2-Factor? Maintaining security online is an ongoing process. Having just a username and password is not much protection in today's environment. If your email provider, bank, and other sensitive accounts offer 2 factor I highly recommend you configure and enable it. While still not full proof, it significantly raises the effort needed to compromise your account.

2 factor adds a one time code or permission request after you have entered your username and password. This code can be texted to you via SMS or sent using an app on your phone or computer.

You still need to be cautious anytime you are asked to sign into a service to make sure you are not signing into a fake account and thereby giving away your login information.
Following links from emails is risky as emails are sent without any verification and it is very easy to pretend to be from anyone you want.
