Printing for Professional Printers

Want more walk-ins and local print jobs without spending a dime on ads?

As small business printers, we all know the hustle of finding new clients. But one of the easiest, lowest-cost ways to boost your sales is sitting right under your nose: your Google Business Profile.

Regularly updating your profile tells Google your shop is active, relevant, and ready for business. Here are 4 quick, high-impact tweaks you can make today:

1. Set Special Holiday Hours: Don't let a prospective client show up to a locked door on a holiday. Use Google’s "special hours" feature to keep your schedule accurate.

2. Drop Weekly Pics & Videos: Show off your work! Our friends over at VIVA PRINT in Cypress Hills do an amazing job posting Facebook videos of their services. Dropping weekly photos or short video clips onto your Google profile yields instant visibility.

3. Ask for Reviews Immediately: Don't wait! Request a review the moment a job is completed while the experience is fresh. Google gives you a handy short-link to send directly to clients.

4. Reply to Every Single Review: Good or bad, reply to them all. It shows prospects you care, and it gives Google more keywords to rank your shop.

These are the exact steps we use to keep our own profile sharp, and they work. As part of our Printing for Professional Printers community, I’ll keep sharing our best marketing ideas with you! Drop a link to your Google profile in the comments below so we can support each other!

Printing for Professional Printers

Exciting news for our fellow Brooklyn print shops! We are launching a new series dedicated to the professional printers we partner with every day. Moving forward, we will be showcasing real print jobs from around the borough and sharing tools to help you sell more high-quality work to your own clients.

Speaking of great local printers, check out this recent project we ran for our friends at Benchmark Signaats! We’ve partnered with Benchmark for nearly 40 years, working alongside three generations of incredible leadership—from their founder Blaine, to Maria, and now Elena.

We produced over 250 jobs for Benchmark last year alone. Because they share our print facility, they get the unique advantage of walking right up to our production and design teams to consult on any complex project.

Recent Project Spotlight:

Specs: 500 sets of a 40-page self-cover booklet

Finish: 3-hole punched, printed full-color on 100 lb. gloss text

Quality Control: Elena and the team reviewed a physical proof directly with our press team to guarantee flawless final ex*****on.

Thank you, Benchmark, for 40 years of friendship and your continued trust in SaveMor!

We are thrilled to officially launch our brand new trade printing initiative designed exclusively for professional printers. To kick things off, we will be highlighting some of the incredible work we are producing right here in Brooklyn, alongside sales tools to help you close more deals.

Spotlight Printer: Solarz Brothers Printing

For nearly a decade, we have been honored to handle wholesale printing for our friends at Solarz Printing, who proudly serve the Polish community in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. A huge thank you to Zibi for 10 years of trusted partnership and friendship!

To help Solarz showcase their new offerings, we recently upgraded one of their print projects. We took a 44 page, perfect-bound book originally printed on premium 100 lb. gloss cover (with a sleek UV coating) and 100 lb. gloss text interior and converted it into a striking, modern square edge booklet. We factored a subtle creep adjustment into the final layout to ensure a flawless, professional finish.
