My love hate relationship with AI
AI is impressive.

AI is frustrating.

Recently, I was troubleshooting a technical issue with ChatGPT. It suggested a fix. I implemented it.

It failed.

I replied:
“That didn’t work. Here’s the error message…”

It gave me the same solution again.

I tried once more. Same answer.

We were stuck in a loop.

So I pulled out a quote commonly attributed to Einstein (though its origin is debated):

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

That broke it.

Excalidraw - I forgot about this one...
I bookmarked this several years ago and forgot about it.

Excalidraw is a whiteboard and flowchart app. Not as sophisticated as Visio for sure, but good enough to get a casual job done.

I particularly like the look of the output which have a hand-drawn feel to them.

Clean Up Unifi Client Data
I created a small Excel VBA macro to clean Unifi client data. You need to copy the data from the Unifi Client Devices page and paste it into an Excel Worksheet. Once that is done running the macro will clean up an formatting or weird stuff that is copied over from the web page.

Working with OneDrive in VBA (revisited)
In June 2023 I wrote a post about working with OneDrive in VBA. The code I created worked with the use case I had at the time and five months later it broke. Faced with a new use case I did a complete rewrited.

I intended to repost the new code and never did, until today.

This morning I did another rewrite/refactoring. Created a Excel Workbook to test and demonstrate the code and posted it to Github for the world to enjoy.
