but this time with 1/8 fast guy, Jimmy Fishback! 🏆

The 2026 Jconcepts Stock Nationals were this past weekend at Coyote Hobbies in California and the competition was stacked!

Jimmy Fishback was able to take the TQ and win with his R1B in the Open 17.5 buggy class with Cole Blankenship getting 3rd overall with his R1B as well. 🏁

Another notable mention is Eric Hernandez taking 2nd place overall in the 21.5 buggy class.

R1WURKS B7 Series Ultra-Lightweight Pro Slipper Eliminator System

The latest iteration of our slipper eliminator system focuses on significant weight reduction, particularly in areas affecting rotational inertia, resulting in faster drivetrain spool-up, improved acceleration, and enhanced overall efficiency. This was achieved by eliminating traditional gear-mounting screws and replacing them with a single lightweight aluminum nut, which not only reduces rotational mass but also ensures a secure, warp-free gear mount.

Use this bulkhead to add additional front weight and fine-tune your buggy’s handling.
Shifting weight toward the front tires is a popular setup option for improving steering response and front-end grip, particularly on high-traction tracks.

This bulkhead is machined in-house from high-strength steel, providing exceptional durability while also adding useful mass to the front of the chassis for improved balance and stability.

In addition to increasing front weight, the design allows for quick adjustment of the front suspension kick-up angle. By simply rotating the block, you can choose between +2.5° or −2.5° kick-up, making it easy to fine-tune steering feel, bump handling, and overall chassis behavior to match your driving style or track conditions.
