Sure. Take away support for XP, then claim Windows 8 is selling like hotcakes. Not because its a good operating system, but because you are forcing it on everyone's new PCs. I'm sure the fact that WIndows 7 sales on new PCS was stopped last week helped as well.

After years on top, Windows XP appears to be slipping away as Windows 8 and 8.1 surge.

IE bug has been patched! If you have updates install automatically, you'll notice your PC was re-started this morning. If not, download and install it. You should also install the latest version of IE (version 11).
