Powered by White River Valley Electric Cooperative, White River Connect is taking connectivity to the heartland. Last week, members of the White River team attended the statewide Communications and Member Services Conference hosted by the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives, sharing the work happening across YOUR Cooperative.

From White River Connect’s no-cost REVOLUTIONARY internet upgrades that doubled speeds for eligible customers to creative social media strategies that keep our communities connected, our team had plenty to share!

But the conference was about more than sharing ideas. It was also a reminder of one of the core principles that makes cooperatives special: cooperation among cooperatives.

Throughout the week, cooperative communicators came together to learn from one another, share ideas, and give back. With help from the Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club (Jesters of Goodwill), attendees even came together to build bikes that were donated to a classroom of children. Different cooperatives, working together to make a difference!

That same spirit carries into the work we do every day. From finding new ways to deliver value through White River Connect to investing in the communities we serve, our work always comes back to YOU.

Tucked along Business Highway 5 in Ava sits a local gem.
A bright red porch swing. A welcoming green door. The kind of place that feels familiar before you ever step inside.
Walk through that door and you'll hear the hum of impact wrenches mixed with conversation. At the front desk, you'll likely find Amy greeting customers, answering questions, and keeping the day moving. Out in the shop, Amy's son Tucker stays busy alongside the crew, helping customers one set of tires at a time.
Seeing it now, you’d never know that before the team at Ava Tire made the switch to White River Connect, unreliable internet often meant frustration and missed opportunities.
