Last minute PSA: It would seem that Adidas's payment servers may have been compromised.

Change your passwords immediately if you have made purchases from their online website in the past 6 years.

Despite silence from Adidas, Banks across the USA are currently taking a ton of calls for disputes regarding this.

Change your passwords.

We'll be closed for the next week as we upgrade our hardware.

This will NOT impact ANY ongoing jobs or customers.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

03/21/2023

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank our customers.

652 Computers were donated, 100% free of charge to schools, retirement homes and business startups in 2022.

Oftentimes when a customer purchases a new computer, has to replace hardware or has electronics they no longer use, they simply surrender their old hardware to us.

Following this donation, the Hard Drives are wiped to Department of Defense standards, the hardware is refurbished and then donated to a good cause and it's all thanks to you.

Of those 652 computers:

-87 were obtained from the Bradford PA/Olean NY area
-112 were obtained from the Phoenix AZ area
-453 were shipped to us

This is a 12.6% increase over 2021.

These numbers account only for serviceable hardware that we could refurbish to our in house quality standards.

But where did they end up?

602 went to schools across the USA
28 went to small business startups
12 went to retirement homes
6 went to homeschooling parents
4 went to a church

I can't thank all of you enough for making this possible.

Despite the ever increasing taxes levied upon us, oftentimes schools remain underfunded and ignored. Several having reached out with pictures showing that they're still using Windows XP, Vista and sometimes even earlier versions to teach. This is completely and totally unacceptable and it's YOU who are helping us combat this.

Thank you from everyone at Bradford Electronics!

But those are just words, yeah? How about some sort of tangible "THANK YOU"?

How about free labor for anything under an hour?

For the remainder of 2023, any job that takes less than an hour to complete will not be billed.

We look forward to next year's post!

We'll be closed for the next week as we get setup and settled into our new offices.

I'll also take this opportunity to quell the rumor that we suffered a massive power surge. That simply never happened and even if it did, every device in our company is attached to an industrial UPS to protect from surges.

We're moving our Bradford Pennsylvania location due to security issues and the age/size of the building preventing us from updating our hardware and expanding.

We'll be posting photos of our newly constructed offices once we finish the move.

Any ongoing work will NOT be affected.

ONLY the Bradford Pennsylvania office is affected.

The Kane dropoff location will NOT be affected .

This phone was found outside of our offices on Main Street, Bradford today around 5:00 PM.

If this is your device, privately message us what is on your lock screen and we'll deliver your device to you.

Otherwise, we'll be forced to send it to you through Verizon and that will take several weeks.

PSA - There are an older couple running a scam at local repair shops. The name that was originally given was "Mary" and then the paperwork was signed "Beth". The female has curly white hair.

They bring in a device and upon pickup claim that there was a multi thousand dollar device also brought in and threaten to sue if you don't "comp" them for it.

Thankfully, our offices have security cameras and we practice good record keeping so they were directed to our lawyers.

Local businesses, do not get taken advantage of.

We'll be submitting photos of the couple to the police.

11/22/2022

We will be closed until next Tuesday so our employees can spend time with their families and recover from turkey coma.

Our emergency line WILL still be active.

10/12/2022

We'll be closed until sometime next week due to a death in the family.

While I find it incredibly silly that this must be said, it would seem that we need to make the following statements:

1 - We do NOT have a public bathroom in ANY of our offices.

2 - We do NOT have a public water fountain in ANY of our offices.

3 - Our offices are private property owned by Bradford Electronics. As a company that amongst other services installs, repairs and maintains security hardware, we of course have security cameras. By entering our property, as the signs say, you've consented to being recorded. Our cameras are there to ensure the safety of our staff, our customers as well as the security of our offices and product.

4 - If a customer is speaking in a rude, degrading, threatening or harassing manner to myself or any of my employees, we reserve the right to throw said customer out of our offices. For example, swearing at my secretary for not letting you use our bathroom on the third floor of a building you have no business being inside of is a sure fire way to get tossed out by security.

5 - We DO NOT buy used electronics. Especially those with a password that has been "forgotten".

6 - ALL of our employees have an ID badge that clearly marks them as an employee of Bradford Electronics. ALL of our employees WILL present this to anyone who asks to view it.

7 - We employ people who enjoy their Second Amendment rights and have paid company "Range Days". With this said, threatening our secretary for not letting you use a private bathroom while surrounded by such people is quite foolish.

8 - Anyone caught trespassing on our property after hours will be assumed to be armed, dangerous and have ill and or violent intent towards our employees and as such will be dealt with within the expansive and comfortable confines of the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State of Arizona and or State of Georgia.

9 - The computers and other hardware that we stockpile are stored for eminent donation to underfunded schools, new business startups, retirement home, etc. Attempting to steal such hardware is incredibly frowned upon not only by our staff but by any reasonable person. We value our property, employees and customers and will protect it/them within the confines of the state laws in which our offices reside.

10 - Catalytic Converters... It should go without saying that all of our offices and vehicles are under 24/7 monitored video, audio, motion and thermal surveillance. Attempting to cut the Catalytic Converters off of our work vans will be extremely hazardous to your health. Especially considering the only people who know you're there are our employees and you.

Again, I feel that it is unfortunate that these ten statements must be made. I personally feel that this is all common sense, however common sense doesn't seem to be very common these days.
