A Warrior Remembered Is Never Forgotten. Patch Me Thru, Inc. Is remembering Clue today. On September 11, 1995, 9-year-old Jimmy Ryce, on his way home from school was abducted, r***d and murdered at the hands of a sexual predator. The family of Jimmy Ryce created the Jimmy Ryce Center for Victims of Predatory Abduction to offer assistance to law enforcement, including providing free bloodhounds for use in search and rescue. A bloodhound, named Clue, was among the first bloodhounds donated to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office by the Jimmy Ryce Center. Clue has been a personal inspiration for most of the bloodhound designs created by Patch Me Thru, Inc. for law enforcement departments throughout the state of Florida. Unfortunately, Clue, passed away on January 31, 2014, and a special Memoriam patch was created for Clue’s handler, Palm Beach Sheriff's Office's Deputy Luis Ledbetter. An interesting fact, the bloodhound which is currently utilized in the Jimmy Ryce Center’s design is named Bandit. Bandit is the son of Clue. The legacy will live on...always.

Remastered design with new color scheme for the Manalapan Police Department. Manalapan is a small beach side community located on a barrier island in central Palm Beach County. Harold Stirling Vanderbilt, a railroad executive, incorporated Manalapan in 1931. Two of the most puzzling mysteries in Florida's history was the disappearance of Circuit Judge Curtis Chillingworth and the subsequent murders of Curtis and his wife Marjorie Chillingworth. And the second, was the su***de of George De Mohrenschildt, a Russian Geologist, Warren Commission witness and confidant of Lee Harvey Oswald. The House Select Committee on Assinations considered George a "crucial witness" and before the HSCA could see him he was found dead from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head in his home in Manalapan. He has been called "The man who knew too much."

Remastered design and updated color scheme for the Miramar Police Department. Located in Broward County, Miramar, was for some time headquartered in a strip mall. In 2005, a hurricane damaged the strip mall and the city had some difficulty in finding a suitable replacement. Currently, the police department is located at the City Hall Promenade. This is cool to know, a notable resident of Miramar is actor and member of The Hollywood Vampires, Johnny Depp.

Toll of the bells followed by a sobering silence befell Broward Sheriff's Office headquarters Thursday, April 25th for the BSO Annual Memorial Service. This is done every year in tribute to those who lost their lives doing their duty over the past 99 years. Patch Me Thru, Inc., is humbled and honored to have helped create and design the official BSO Honor Guard insignia, nicknamed "9463" after Sergeant Chris Reyka's ID number. The patch seen below on their uniforms has become a principal icon with the agency. PMT will continue to stand, value, honor and support not just "Thin Green Lines" but thin lines of all colors. Today Patch Me Thru, Inc., would like to share with everyone one of our older designs we manufactured for the Poplar Bluff Police Department. Poplar Bluff is a small city in Butler County in Southeast Missouri. It is also the county seat of Butler County and is known as "The Gateway to the Ozarks" among other names. The historic "Frisco Train Station" depicted in the patch was built in 1928 and is now a railroad museum.

The Broward County Honor Guard was formed in 1981. The team has traveled throughout the US for both law enforcement and firefighter line-of-duty deaths, fire station openings, dedications, memorial services, funerals and parades. Members of the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Honor Guard also instruct with the Honor Guard Association of Broward County, and are part of the Florida Multi-Agency Honor Guard. The team's first competition at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in 2013 landed them in 2nd place. They took top honors again at FDIC in April. This is the 2nd consecutive year the team took 1st place in the national competition. Patch Me Thru is a strong supporter of "thin lines of all colors" and seeing one of our patches on those sharp uniforms is very exciting!

Plant City Police Department receives an upgrade design by for their Honor Guard team. Members of the Honor Guard must be proficient at precision marching, flag standards, and the intricacies of choreography and funeral standards. They must also have the ability to stand at attention or at parade rest or funerary rest for extended periods of time at memorials, funerals, and other social ceremonies.

Jupiter Police Department's Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) gets an upgrade with custom embroidered insignia designed and manufactured by . A DRE is a law enforcement officer trained to identify people whose driving is impaired by drugs other than, or in addition to, alcohol. All DRE's follow the same 12 step procedure called a "drug influence evaluation" to determine which category of drugs is causing the driver to be impared. These guys are sharp, credible, on point and awesome. We completely support all DRE officers in law enforcement. Let's end Drugged Driving!

Welcome to the jungle! Lauderhill Police Department's K-9 Unit gets a revamp and a donation from of their unit insignia. Lauderhill began largely has an off the shelf architectural design which had been available to the public at Macy's department store. The homes, which had been designed by Andrew Geller, had originally been on display at the "Typical American House" at the American Exhibition in Moscow. Originally, the K-9 Unit only ordered the subdued patches, but being all things K-9 that day, made a donation of the color patches to the unit. We just love fur missiles!

Back in 2015 we were asked by the Chief of Police to help design a patch for this relatively new Police Department in Florida, called the Town of Orchid. Orchid is located in Indian River County with a population of just over 400, yet ranked sixth in Florida locations by per capita income. The patch has been closely guarded and highly sought after. The team is responsible for handling various incidents, barricaded subjects, hostage-taking situations, search and arrest warrant operations, dignitary protection missions, and other tactical operations. Welaka is a resort town, situated on the St. Johns River in Putnam County, marketing itself to visitors seeking medicinal cures from the mineral water of the local springs and great Bass fishing. It is also the home of the Welaka National Fish Hatchery, operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It is the only national fish hatchery in Florida.
