Why open up the messy middle?

We asked ourselves that before deciding to livestream a real-time refactor of Meteor, our SaaS product. No cuts. No clean-ups. Just us, a decade of hard-won process, and v0.dev as a co-pilot.

The short answer? We wanted to show our work. Not just the shiny end state, but the way we interact with AI tools—agentic or generative—to drive actual business outcomes. Not theoretical use cases. Not hype decks. Just: here’s how we think through design. Here’s where AI accelerates us. Here’s where it doesn’t.

We’ve spent the last 10 years shaping a product and a process we’re proud of. But the tooling is changing, and fast. So instead of hiding behind the scenes, we opened the doors.

Last Sunday we dove into v0.dev and began reimagining our project management tool, Meteor. This week we're continuing what we started! There's still quite a bit of work to do, and we're ready to roll up our sleeves. Live. With you.
