Backup those important files, pictures, videos etc. Use your One Drive, Google Drive, Drop Box, etc. accounts or if nothing else, get an external usb hard drive at Walmart and backup your important documents and photos to that.

Don't forget, you can bring any small electronics, cables cords, wires, etc to be recycled by GeekyHillbilly Recycles to 419 S Cuivre St in Bowling Green, MO. for free. All data on any hard drives is securely destroyed using state of the art software. If you have a large quantity of electronics to recycle or you have questions, you can call 573-324-7176 anytime between 8 and 5 Monday through Friday.

GeekyHillbilly Recycles will be having a electronics recycling event Sept. 21st from 8a.m. to 4p.m. located behind Peoples Savings Bank at 901 N Business, US-61, Bowling Green, MO 63334.

We will accept any type of small electronics such as desktops, laptops, routers, keyboards, mice, printers, flat panel monitors, any computer related parts or accessories, cell phones, home phones, office phones, dvd/vcr players, tv boxes, cables, cords, chargers, etc. Just drive up and someone will be there to unload your things.

Please note NO TV'S or MICROWAVES. Old style CRT monitors will only be accepted with a $10 fee. Sorry, that's what our larger recycler charges us because they get charged to recycle them too.

GeekyHillbilly Recycles is also looking for volunteers for the event. If you or someone you know are interested in volunteering for the event, it will be greatly appreciated. You could volunteer to help for 20 minutes or a couple of hours or the whole 4 hours. Whatever the amount of time spent volunteering will be very helpful and very much appreciated.
