Long before the startups and innovation, this was the Bowling Green Mall. A place that came alive every December. Hallways filled with Christmas music. Families wandering store to store. Kids beaming in anticipation, waiting their turn to tell Santa exactly what they were hoping for. It wasn’t just a shopping mall, it was a memory maker.
Over time, the building evolved. Storefronts turned into workspaces. Foot traffic was replaced with big ideas. What was once a bank became our office at UnDesked.
But these walls don’t forget, and every year, something familiar happens.
In the same way the building evolved, so did Santa. Instead of collecting wish lists on his lap, he quietly removes every tag from an Angel Tree and relocates the gifts to the “old mall.” The hustle and bustle returns: elves sorting and double-checking their lists, joy and anticipation in the air, music playing, cheer spreading, gifts piling up. The magic reappears.
And the vault has seen it all. ❤️🎄
From safeguarding valuables to witnessing innovation, change, and a passion for the community we live in. It stands quietly as a reminder that while the building has lived many lives, its heart has remained the same. Each December, this space becomes what it has always been — a place where people come together to give, to care, and to keep the spirit of Christmas alive.
