This is what Memorial Day is about. This is a photo from a trip my wife and I took last week to Normandy, France. This hallowed ground holds the remains of almost 10,000 of 1.3 million men and woman who have given their lives in combat for our nation in the last 250 years. As a US Navy veteran, I stood humbled in the presence of such bravery and sacrifice.
To all 1.3 million of you and your families, thank you for your service and sacrifice. A debt that can truly never be repayed.

I made a mistake…
On Friday I was an hour and a half away in Oklahoma doing a job. When I got home Friday evening, I realized I had made a mistake. So what do you do? Well I leave early to go correct my mistake an hour and a half away on my dime so my clients can get to work.

My son comes home tomorrow from US Armmy training. As a US Navy veteran, I understand the impact of being separated from those we love this time of year. To all who have served, are serving and their families we salute you.
