Sometimes, a Bootcamp is only the beginning!

Earlier this year, we met Electronic Engineering student Simone Sperotto (third from the left in the picture) at the OpenVMS Bootcamp in Malmö. Simone arrived with impressive hands-on OpenVMS experience and a clear ambition to build a future in the field.

Now, Simone has joined VMS Software for a three-month internship in Denmark. He will complete OpenVMS Internals training, work on his thesis on Memory Management in OpenVMS on x86, contribute to performance testing, and learn from colleagues across Professional Services, Support, and Engineering.

This is exactly why bringing new people into the OpenVMS community matters. By sharing knowledge, creating opportunities, and making meaningful connections, we can help develop the expertise that will carry OpenVMS forward.
