What if two hours of your time could introduce you to tools, knowledge, and resources that help you build what’s next?

The Idaho Technology Council is inviting entrepreneurs, startups, small business owners, and tech professionals to explore our upcoming Digital Masterclass through Verizon Small Business Digital Ready and Rural LISC

And this goes well beyond one webinar.

Verizon Small Business Digital Ready is a FREE online educational platform built to give small businesses and professionals practical, actionable resources to grow, adapt, and strengthen their digital skills.

Through the platform, you can access:
• 50+ on-demand courses covering AI, social media marketing, financial planning, business strategy, and more
• Virtual events and conversations with experts and peers
• Resources you can explore and complete at your own pace
• Funding opportunities available exclusively to Digital Ready members

This isn't a sales pitch or an attempt to get you into a new product. It's an educational resource designed to help entrepreneurs, startups, and professionals gain valuable knowledge and continue building their skills.

There’s another opportunity worth knowing about:

Complete two eligible courses or events through Small Business Digital Ready, and you can become eligible to apply for a chance to receive one of Verizon’s $10,000 small business grants.*

Since 2021, more than 450,000 small business owners have registered with Digital Ready, with more than $13.5 million in grant funding awarded.

Hosting this month’s event at Meridian Technical Charter High School also gives us the opportunity to connect industry with an organization helping prepare the next generation of Idaho’s technical talent.

Growing Idaho’s technology community takes strong connections across the entire state.

We’re excited to welcome the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber as a new member of the Idaho Technology Council!

The Chamber has long been a connector and champion for the Coeur d’Alene business community, bringing organizations and leaders together to strengthen economic opportunity throughout the region. We’re excited to deepen our relationship and continue building stronger connections between North Idaho and Idaho’s broader technology ecosystem.

We’re already seeing that collaboration in action. This October, ITC will facilitate and host iTECH Summit Inland Northwest at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in partnership with the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber—bringing our organizations together around technology, business, and the future of the region.

We’re proud to have the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber as part of the ITC community and look forward to growing this partnership well beyond a single event.

If you’re doing business in North Idaho—or want to become more connected to the region—we encourage you to learn more about the Chamber, their work, and the community they serve.

In case you missed it — the workforce revolution is already underway.

On August 20, our Spark Series brought together leaders working directly at the intersection of AI, innovation, and the changing workplace for AI Agents: The Next Workforce Revolution.

The conversation went beyond the hype to explore what AI agents actually mean for the way we work — from managing workflows and completing tasks to supporting decision-making and working alongside people.

A huge thank you to our panelists for sharing their expertise and perspective:
🎙️ Erin-Todd Hansen | Principal Solution Architect, Intuit
🎙️ Ken Brook | Founder, AdPrompt.ai
🎙️ Roger Rowles | Founder, Borah.ai

We’re also excited to welcome Ken and Roger as two of the newest members of the Idaho Technology Council! Seeing new members immediately step into the conversation, share their expertise, and engage with Idaho’s technology community is exactly what ITC is all about.

Missed the live conversation? You can still catch the full episode and hear where AI agents may be taking the workforce next.

Happy Birthday to our Vice President & COO, Betsy Davies

Every strong organization needs someone who can keep the mission moving forward while making sure the systems, people, and details behind it are working together. For the Idaho Technology Council, Betsy is that person.

A strong leader, problem solver, and steady hand, Betsy has a remarkable ability to bring structure to complexity, refine the systems around us, and keep our team moving in the right direction.

If ITC is a battleship navigating the waters of Idaho’s growing technology community, Betsy is at the stern—keeping us organized, steady, and moving forward.

Her leadership and impact extend far beyond our own team, from her work advancing technology and economic opportunity across Idaho to the countless programs, partnerships, and people she has helped strengthen along the way.

Today, we get to celebrate the person behind all that work.

Please join us in wishing Betsy Davies a very Happy Birthday! We’re grateful for your leadership, Betsy, and everything you bring to ITC and the Idaho technology community.

ITC Member Spotlight: Kirsten Donovan

The strength of Idaho’s technology community comes down to the people willing to connect, share what they know, and contribute to what’s being built here.

Join us in welcoming Kirsten Donovan, Regional Sales Director at Illumio.

Kirsten brings years of experience in technology sales and leadership, with a career centered on building strong teams, developing relationships, and helping organizations navigate increasingly complex technology decisions.

Today, that work puts her on the front lines of an issue every organization has to think about: cyber resilience. At Illumio, Kirsten works in the world of Zero Trust and breach containment—helping organizations rethink security around not only preventing attacks, but limiting their impact when they happen.

We’re glad to have Kirsten’s perspective and experience represented within the ITC community, and we look forward to the conversations and connections ahead.

AI shouldn’t be reserved for the biggest companies.

That idea is at the heart of Main Street AI, one of the newest members of the Idaho Technology Council.

Based in Boise, Main Street AI works with small businesses, community banks and credit unions, and charter schools to turn artificial intelligence from an intimidating concept into something organizations can actually put to work.

Their approach goes beyond recommending tools. The Main Street AI team works alongside organizations to assess operations, identify opportunities and risks, and build and deploy AI solutions designed around real business needs. Just as importantly, they bring governance, security, and responsible AI practices into that process from the beginning.

That combination of practical innovation and responsible implementation is exactly the kind of work that strengthens Idaho’s technology community.

We’re excited to welcome Main Street AI to the Idaho Technology Council and to have their experience, perspective, and curiosity in the conversations ahead.

Welcome to ITC, Reality Capture Network!

We’re excited to welcome Reality Capture Network (RCN) as a new member of the Idaho Technology Council!

RCN is building a global community around the people and technologies shaping the future of the built environment—from reality capture and digital twins to LiDAR, drones, BIM, AI, robotics, and other emerging technologies.

And Idaho gets to see that community in action through R-CON.

Hosted in Boise, R-CON brings professionals, technology leaders, practitioners, and innovators from around the world together to share ideas, explore emerging technologies, and build meaningful connections. This October, R-CON 2026 will take over the Boise Centre from October 12–15, putting Idaho at the center of conversations shaping the future of construction technology and the built environment.

RCN’s focus on innovation, education, connection, and community strongly aligns with what we’re working to grow across Idaho’s technology ecosystem, and we’re thrilled to have them officially join the ITC community.

Welcome to ITC, Reality Capture Network! We’re excited for what we can build together.
