Last week, the Nampa Realtors Foundation hosted their Scholarship Banquet at the beautiful Deer Flat Ranch Event Center!

The evening struck the perfect balance of simple and exciting, with a live auction, balloon draw, and a dessert dash. Kevin Seward brought incredible energy as the auctioneer, and Elevate Academy brought the excellent food. Our team was proud to support behind the scenes with check-in, clerking, and check-out so the foundation members could fully enjoy the event they worked so hard to create.

Washington Elementary recently hosted “Camp Washington,” a beautifully intimate art auction featuring class projects and unique teacher experiences. The school used Auction Frogs' Auto Bid + Bid Wars features for an exciting silent auction—and didn’t stop there! A live auction brought even more energy to the evening.

Auction Frogs staff were proud to be onsite, assisting with fundraising efforts to bolster classroom supplies, fuel K-6 field trips, support STEM expansion, fund innovative guest speakers, and purchase much-needed art materials.

The 13th Annual Bocce with the Brothers Fundraiser took place recently, benefitting Capuchin Ministries, including the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Solanus Casey Center, and Capuchin Retreat. The Brothers held a silent auction utilizing Auction Frogs mobile bidding software, and of course a live auction and paddle raise! Our CEO Kristi Saucerman had a great time watching bocce games and bids rise throughout the night!

Amazing volunteers and items made the Oregon Wild Sheep Benefit an night to remember! Silent auction, gun and purse raffles, and a great live auction kept the crowd engaged all night long.

Alisha and Melanie tackle a common event question: how many silent or live auction items should you have?

Less is More: More items don’t always mean more funds. For a 300-person gala (~150 wallets), aim for 30% of that number in auction items—around 45 quality items. Too many items dilute urgency and don’t necessarily boost revenue.

Focus on Quality: Prioritize fewer, high-value items over quantity. A nonprofit’s silent auction raised the same $8,000 whether it offered 125, 95, or just 35 items.

Embrace Technology: If your auction has plateaued, consider upgrading from paper and pen to a mobile bidding platform. These systems drive engagement with reminders, increasing bids per item and overall revenue.
