Going to be a rough day for us IT folk.

CrowdStrike (an EDR and Antivirus platform) pushed a bad update in the very early a.m.

It made Windows servers and workstations blue screen crash and reboot in a continual Loop. The fix is a manual stop and boot into safe mode to remove the bad file.

Imagine doing that for thousands upon thousands of servers and who knows how many remote workers with workstations. They would not be online for remote support.

Many of these machines are encrypted with BitLocker and may not have the decryption Keys immediately available to get into them.
