Today, we’re proud to launch SkyWater’s refreshed brand identity. This is a milestone that reflects not just how far we’ve come, but how deeply committed we remain to our customers.

As our capabilities and impact continue to grow, one thing hasn’t changed: everything we build starts with our customers. The breakthroughs being built in our U.S.-based fabs are the result of deep collaboration, shared problem‑solving, and a commitment to deliver technologies the world can trust.

Our new tagline is "Built Here, Trusted Everywhere."

Built Here reflects our commitment to being America’s foundry. At its core, it celebrates the talented people at SkyWater who turn our customers’ and partners’ ideas into critical technologies.

Trusted Everywhere reflects the reliability, DMEA accreditation and IP protection our customers depend on. While these credentials are particularly important to our U.S. customers, the trust behind them extends well beyond our borders. Customers around the world rely on SkyWater for secure manufacturing, supply chain resilience and disciplined ex*****on

The video we’re sharing today showcases the environments, materials, and brilliant teams behind this work, and the responsibility we carry as America’s foundry.

While our visual identity is evolving, our purpose is not. We’ll continue showing up with the agility, collaboration, and accountability required to solve the challenges that matter most.

Excited for where we go next, together. See what we're building: www.skywatertechnology.com.

Sometimes, a career in semiconductor manufacturing starts with a cookie. And what begins as a fun activity might become the first step in a bigger journey.

Through our P-TECH partnership, SkyWater is helping students explore semiconductor manufacturing throughout high school, building from classroom activities to hands-on experiences in the fab and giving students a closer look at the careers and opportunities available in the industry.

AnhThu Tran and Felicia Donley are part of that journey, helping students uncover technology and careers that make semiconductor manufacturing possible.

It’s one way we can help build the next generation of semiconductor talent, while giving students the opportunity to see themselves in an industry that will play an important role in our future.

What does it take to ignite a student’s interest in semiconductor manufacturing and technology careers? Sometimes, it begins with a cookie. Through the P-TECH manufacturing pathway, SkyWater introduces students to semiconductor manufacturing with a cookie. Frosting becomes deposited material. Poli...

Manufacturing is where innovation becomes reality.

From the devices we use every day to technologies shaping the future of computing, communications, defense, healthcare and more, advanced technology depends on something fundamental: manufacturing.

In semiconductor manufacturing, innovation doesn’t stop when a new technology is designed. It takes specialized equipment, sophisticated processes, rigorous quality standards and, most importantly, skilled people to turn ideas into working technology.

Throughout October, we’ll be highlighting some of the people who make that work possible, from operators and technicians to engineers and other specialists working behind the scenes in our fabs every day.

Happy Manufacturing Day!

The future of quantum computing will depend not only on breakthroughs in the lab, but on the ability to translate those innovations into scalable manufacturing.

In his latest blog, SkyWater SVP of Engineering Percy Gilbert explores why quantum manufacturing will be critical to turning promising quantum technologies into reliable, manufacturable systems.

From yield and process control to specialized materials, semiconductor equipment and advanced integration, manufacturing considerations need to be part of quantum technology development from the start.

Because the future of quantum computing won’t just be invented in the lab. It will be industrialized in the fab.

Read Percy’s latest perspective on the manufacturing challenges shaping the next era of quantum computing.

By Percy Gilbert, SVP Engineering at SkyWater Summary: Scaling quantum technologies from laboratory demonstrations to reliable, repeatable manufacturing is one of the biggest challenges facing the industry. Quantum manufacturing must be designed with yield, process control, materials, and system int...

Innovation doesn’t happen without people who know how to make it real.

This Labor Day, we’re recognizing the skilled workers, technicians, engineers and manufacturing professionals who turn complex ideas into real-world technology. At SkyWater, we see that every day in our fabs and across the teams that support them. Their expertise is helping build the next generation of American semiconductor manufacturing.

Today, we’re celebrating the people behind the technology.

The next generation of semiconductor talent spent the summer learning by doing. Across our Minnesota, Florida and Texas sites, our interns took on meaningful projects, developed new skills, shared their work and learned from the people around them. As their internships come to a close, we’re proud to celebrate what they accomplished this summer.

One of the highlights of the summer was seeing our interns share what they learned through poster and presentation sessions. From technical projects to process improvements, they had the opportunity to present their work and answer questions from their colleagues and fellow students.

We’re also celebrating a great accomplishment from our Texas team: all four Texas interns passed their Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification! Congratulations!

And, of course, an internship is about more than the work. Our interns made time to enjoy the summer together, with Minnesota interns heading to a Twins game, Florida interns gathering for hotpot, and Texas interns hitting the mini golf course.

We’re proud of everything this year’s interns accomplished and grateful to the mentors and teams across SkyWater who helped make their experiences possible.

Happy National Intern Day! This summer, we're proud to welcome talented interns to our teams in Minnesota, Florida and Texas. From high school students exploring careers in semiconductor manufacturing to college students applying what they've learned in the classroom, each intern has made meaningful contributions while gaining hands-on experience alongside our teams.

Our interns have supported projects across the business, including:
• Device characterization and testing
• Process engineering and manufacturing improvements
• AI-enabled workflow development
• Materials analysis and metrology
• Equipment calibration and automation
• Quality systems and audit support
• Facilities and wafer handling improvements
• Data analysis and software tools for manufacturing

Thank you to our interns for their energy, curiosity and fresh perspectives. And thank you to the SkyWater mentors who have invested their time to help develop the next generation of talent.
