Rebel Radio 92.7 FM WXFC-LP Blue Ridge, Georgia. This is the radio station that we started at my high school before my sophomore year. We ran it with a software called Radio DJ. This software is not only useful for radio stations, but also for anywhere you need music to play in a playlist or in the background of an event. The software is free and easy to use once you set it up. I use it at Camp Hosanna for the background eating music and other things. The reason it is better then just using media center is because it cross fades the music together to sound consistent, it will never play the same two songs in a row depending how you set it up, and you can also add in announcements to play at specific times during the day. Imagine using software to run the audio at a christian school soccer game and get sponsors and you play their message over the speaker system mixed in with the music. If you have any questions about LP radio or automation software, feel free to message me.

My experience with livestreaming started at my highschool football games. My freshman year of highschool I learned that students in Technology Student Association could earn money towards TSA conference expenses. I signed up and started running a camera outside the pressbox at our football stadium. After a little while I took the time to learn how to operate the computer that switched the cameras and started setting up at the games. Eventually that all led to me hauling equipment all over the state to stream our schools football and basketball games. We had generally 3 cameras and 3 announcers. If you know of or are part of a school that would like to learn more about starting to broadcast sports or other events, feel free to message me about guiding you through the process.

Throwback post to the solar eclipse. For this event my school let me take home $40,000 of live equipment to stream the solar eclipse. I had 2 Sony SDI cameras, one with a homemade sun shield. Those each ran into the custom streaming computer with a black magic capture card. I pointed one camera at the western horizon and the other followed the sun. I streamed to our school website as well as my personal YouTube channel. Combined there were 35,000 live viewers. If you have any questions about this setup please feel free to message me. Also the video replay can be seen at this link https://youtu.be/ZIcvGNbqntA

As a second post, I wanted to show how we are currently doing our live services. The church actually commissioned me to build this streaming computer right before we knew that we would be going all online. It has an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, Nvidia 1650 Super, and 16gb of DDR4 RAM. We are using my personal Nikon D3300 camera because of the quality and the relative distance from the camera that my dad would be standing. We connect the camera to the computer with a mini HDMI cable that runs into a USB 3 external capture card. We use Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) to connect to our streaming platforms. The microphone we are using a modular Audio Technica wireless lapel system that we had already. The audio feeds to the camera via the AUX port. Lighting is very important for such a small setup, so I am using all the lamps and shop lights I could find. If you have any questions about this setup feel free to ask.

As a first post on this page I wanted to show my churches drive up service. We had three means of content distribution. First and easiest was the PA system. We had a PA system with a couple microphones, a piano, a guitar, and a few speakers hooked up. As to not annoy the neighbors, we did not turn the system up very loud. The second form was the radio transmission. For this I modified a personal car radio transmitter from Walmart and then plugged the output of the PA into the AUX port. This worked very well for us. The final form of delivery was our live stream. We had a Mevo camera in front of the pastor streaming to Facebook. I chose this due to the simplicity and ruggedness. I can explain any of these forms in more detail if requested.
