A moment for the 16th Street Education and Visitor Center lobby.

Every detail tells a story:
• The River Wall marks the exact time of the 1963 16th Street Baptist Church bombing and transforms that moment into a call for action.
• A curved gradated floor pattern represents the ripple effect that the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham had on the world.
• Four ring-shaped ceiling fixtures honor the four girls killed in the bombing, symbolizing their halos and the light they continue to shine.

Rooted in history, designed for the future.

The 16th Street Baptist Church has stood as a beacon of faith, resilience, and civil rights since 1873.

The new 16th Street Education and Visitor Center honors the four young girls lost in the 1963 church bombing while transforming remembrance into a call for justice, equality, and unity.

Through a design inspired by the church’s history, the center offers a space to learn, reflect, and connect and symbolizes the community’s journey from a dark past toward a future of hope and possibility.

Tucked behind the trees, the renovated Tennis & Pickleball Complex at Inverness Country Club creates a fresh, welcoming space for members to play, gather, and enjoy the outdoors.

The design pairs modern interiors with warm wood tones, natural materials, and rich blue accents that extend the character of the country club.

A two-level deck anchors the complex, offering space for watching tournaments, relaxing after a match, and hosting events.

A thoughtful renovation designed to bring people together on and off the court. 🎾

🎉 Happy 50th Anniversary to Legacy Arena!

We’re honored to have contributed to the transformation of Legacy Arena at the BJCC, collaborating with Populous and many others on its 2021 modernization.

Our team designed the interiors and finishes throughout the common spaces, concourses, lobbies, suites, and upper club—helping create spaces that host thousands of guests.

Since the renovation, Legacy Arena has continued to be a major destination for Birmingham, welcoming some of the biggest names and events in entertainment.

Here’s to 50 years of memories and many more to come! 🥂
