This isn’t fear-mongering — it’s a reminder that AI makes mistakes, and bad actors know how to exploit them.

A few quick, practical tips:

-Never trust an AI-generated phone number

-Always click through to the company’s actual website

-Verify any support number with a second search

-When in doubt, slow down — scammers rely on urgency
