Your Old Mac Can Be Recycled!

Don't throw your computer in the trash. You may have a non-working Mac in a drawer or on a shelf somewhere. Throwing it in the trash is not environmentally positive… so what do you do?

Recycle it, of course. To Update or Not to Update

Should I update my operating system or not?

Macs on Demand gets asked (often) should we should update our operating system on our Mac or not. Updating the software on their Macs, iPads and iPhones is usually a good thing. But sometimes older apps/software may not function on new operating systems…so that's a possibility. Most often you will need to update older apps or software after updating your OS and that fixes the issue… but not always.

Why would I need to update my operating system? Besides new features, updating your MacOS will contain updated security features and fixes to known bugs. In most cases, when you update your settings, content and access won’t change…much. We can take that uneasy feeling about updating your Mac and do it for you.
