Today is Berthoud Art Walk
After years of doing Berthoud Open Studios, I’m excited that I actually get to walk around, meet the artists, and experience how our community art events are continuing to grow and evolve. There are 24 stops throughout downtown with local artists, live demos, galleries, public art, and creative spaces to explore.
Grab a map and visit 8 or more stops, collect signatures from the businesses, and turn it in to enter the drawing for a $100 local artisan gift basket provided by Berthoud Main Street.
I’m grateful to have been asked again to design the marketing materials for this event, and I’m also grateful to Berthoud Main Street Downtown Berthoud for supporting the continued life of our Art in Public Places brochure and map. It’s a self-guided walking tour highlighting public art throughout town, and I love seeing it continue as a community resource for Art Walk and beyond.
The day continues into Wildfire Arts Center of Berthoud's StreetFest this evening with live music, food trucks, art activities, and the original painting featured in this year’s marketing available at auction.
