The Wrecking Ball 2013, an event to help save Chalmers Institute, Mississippi's first chartered university, in Visit Holly Springs, MS... Check them out here and at Preserve Marshall County & Holly Springs. Thanks for having me again this year. A treat, as always!

Take a look back at previous years' photos to see some of the progress that has already been made on stabilizing the Chalmers building. It's wonderful to see, step by step. I love the textures in the crumbling paint and broken planks, but I can't wait to see some day the refinished and restored structure.

And, of course, the folks who put this event together always make it such a beautiful evening. The lights, the laughter, the food, the music - and the beautiful items available in the silent auction... truly a spectacular evening in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
