Wow!!!
To the parents of the two kids covering our street in chalk drawings in broad daylight — I’ve taken photos of everything and the proper people have already been notified.
The kids have basically turned the whole street into a drawing board, like it’s just normal behavior to treat it that way.
People live here. Families walk through here. Cars go up and down this street every day. Everyone tries to keep the neighborhood looking decent, so seeing the pavement used like a giant sketchpad is honestly frustrating.
I’m not sure where supervision was during all of this, but this really needs to be addressed at home. If your kids did this, it feels like something that should come with both a cleanup and a serious conversation about respecting other people’s property.
This shouldn’t just be brushed off. It really needs to be cleaned up properly before it turns into an ongoing issue for the street.
