Stereo Planet

There are summer sales… and then there are summer upgrades.

We're making room in the warehouse, which means special pricing on select lightly used, open-box, demo, and closeout audio/video equipment.

Maybe you've been thinking about finally getting the TV you really want.
Maybe the den needs a new receiver.

Maybe your patio, deck, or backyard BBQ setup could use outdoor speakers that actually make your favorite music sound like music.

Or maybe you've been telling yourself for three years that your home theater is “good enough,” even though deep down you know movie night could be a whole lot better.

On Saturday, August 1, SERA by Stereo Planet is opening the warehouse for a one-day-only Summer Warehouse Sale, with deep discounts on a wide range of audio/video gear, including TVs, speakers, receivers, amplifiers, turntables, audio components, home theater gear, outdoor audio, cables, accessories,
and more.

Featured brands include Paradigm, B&W, Yamaha, Rotel, McIntosh, Classe, James, Sony, Sonance, Denon, Marantz, Rega, Velodyne, and more.

But this isn't just a “look through boxes and hope for the best” kind of sale.
We'll also be offering free demos in our theater room, showcasing select systems, and sharing ideas for better home entertainment, outdoor sound, music listening, and whole-home audio.

So whether you're looking for a serious home theater upgrade, better sound for your living room, a great turntable setup, outdoor speakers for summer entertaining, or simply a few hidden gems at great prices, this is a sale worth showing up for.

And yes, homemade beverages and snacks will be available from the Gourmet Girls Snack Wagon, so you can hydrate and snack while you shop, listen, explore, and dream a little.

Come early. Bring your questions. Take a theater room demo. Hear what great outdoor sound can do. And maybe bring a little extra room in the car.

Because the right gear has a funny way of becoming very hard to leave behind.

Thank You for Making Our Grand Reopening Sing
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the Grand Reopening of Stereo Planet and Smith Rock Records.

What a night.

The records were spinning, the conversations were flowing, the gear was glowing, and the room had that unmistakable feeling we love most — people coming together around music, sound, stories, and a shared appreciation for the good stuff.
To everyone who stopped by, browsed the bins, checked out the showroom, asked questions, listened, laughed, shared memories, made discoveries, or simply helped bring the place to life — thank you.

We felt the love.

And if you couldn’t make it, no worries. The party may have been one night, but the invitation is ongoing.

Stop by anytime and see what we’ve been building.
Inside you’ll find:
Great records.
Beautiful stereo gear.
Turntables, speakers, receivers, amps, headphones, cables, accessories, and all sorts of sonic treasures.

Plus, real humans who actually care about helping you hear music the way it was meant to be heard.

Whether you’re just getting into vinyl, rebuilding an old system, upgrading your current setup, adding a turntable, improving your movie room, or finally admitting that your little Bluetooth speaker has been doing its best but deserves a peaceful retirement — we’re here for it.

No pressure. No snobbery. No “you should already know this” energy.

Just good music, great gear, honest guidance, and a place where curiosity is always welcome.

Stereo Planet and Smith Rock Records are now open and ready for your next musical adventure.
Come flip through some records.
Come hear what great stereo can do.
Come ask questions.
Come get inspired.

Because the next best thing to peanut butter and jelly is still the beautiful blend of Stereo Planet and Smith Rock Records.

And honestly, it sounds a lot better.

See you soon,
