Four projectors. One screen. Switch between them in real time, each individually optimized. Degree markers on the wall so you can feel — not guess — what different screen sizes actually look like from your seating distance. Calibrated presets from 5.1 all the way through 11.2.6 so you can hear what more speakers actually does to a room.

Mark Döhmann doesn’t build turntables for people who want to be impressed by a logo. Every Helix is the product of decades spent solving the problems most designers pretend don’t exist — resonance, isolation, the microscopic mechanical noise that sits between you and the music. The Helix One is at the showroom, on its feet and playing.

The Supatrac Nighthawks have arrived as well, mounted up and ready to demo. Richard Brown’s outboard-bearing design genuinely solves skating force rather than compensating for it — the tonearm doesn’t look like anyone else’s, and it doesn’t sound like anyone else’s either. Groove tracking and low-level resolution that has to be heard to be argued with.
