Researchers at Osaka Metropolitan University are using FieldView to visualize and analyze CFD simulations for aerospace research, including studies like this one on small aerodynamic surface features called protuberances.

Here, tiny bumps arranged on a flat plate wing create small vortices that boost lift, a detail that could make a difference for small aircraft and drones that fly at low speeds.
