This week’s Image of the Week takes us to Public Square in the heart of downtown Cleveland.

Originally laid out in 1796, Public Square has served as a central gathering place for the city for more than two centuries. One of its most recognizable features from above is the butterfly-shaped walkway, introduced as part of the square’s 2016 redesign. The updated layout helped unify what had once been four separate quadrants into one more walkable, connected public space.

At the southern end of the square sits the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument, dedicated in 1894 to honor Cuyahoga County residents who served in the Civil War.

Eagleview has completed aerial imagery capture for areas impacted by the Hawk Fire near Reno, Nevada.

Our Disaster Response Program team flew when conditions allowed for safe operations and without interfering with emergency response activity. Complete post-event imagery is now published and available on Eagleview platforms.

Because Eagleview captured this area in June 2026, authorized organizations can compare post-event imagery with a recent pre-event baseline to support assessment, recovery planning, and documentation.

Eagleview is preparing to stage aircraft near Reno, Nevada, to capture aerial imagery of areas impacted by the Hawk Fire, should circumstances warrant.

Our Disaster Response Program team is closely monitoring the fire, airspace restrictions, smoke, visibility, and local response activity. If conditions allow and capture is needed, we will coordinate operations to ensure we can fly safely and without interfering with emergency response efforts.

If imagery is captured, it will be made available to authorized organizations supporting assessment and response efforts based on applicable access and contracting arrangements.
