The Frugal Grandma Meaningful Grand Parenting on a Budget The motive here is to share inexpensive but meaningful ways to spend time with our grandchildren.

The Frugal Grandma was inspired by this bouquet of wildflowers and weeds my grandson Jack picked for me, from my own backyard. Many of us "50, 60, 70 and 80 somethings" were hard hit by the 2008 recession, at the very same time we entered this fantastic stage in life. Many are retired and living on fixed incomes.... and many of us are just plain frugal by nature or nurture. I hope you'll share your own stories and ideas here!
