What do schools and universities really want from their AV infrastructure?
For many education institutions, the answer is surprisingly simple: reliable technology that is easy to deploy, easy to maintain, and doesn't place additional demands on the network.
"People want a simple solution, a one-cable solution and something that doesn't really go into their existing network... They just want to hook up their laptop to one USB cable and they just want that to work. point-to-point gives them all of that... Because you can provide power to the endpoints, all over a single category cable, it's super simple to maintain, super simple to install, and it's just really predictable."

"It's also budget friendly... You're not dealing with the cost of putting something on the network or going to IT and saying, 'I'm going to put this traffic on your network.'... There's benefit to being on the network, but there's also a lot of benefit to not being on the network and being on a dedicated cable."
