Happy 2026 to everyone who follows this page.

Changes for this year include no more consoles no more real-to-reels no tape decks DJ equipment powered speakers PA equipment or mixing consoles.

However, new to the shop is an inventory of kickass new and used tube amps for sale including Mesa boogie, Marshall, splawn, fender, Gibson, silvertone, Dan electro, valco, Dr z, Moscow premiere and more. some of these items are from my personal collection others were collected along the way.. everything is fully serviced re-tubed if needed and ready for you.. feel free to stop by the shop and see whats in the inventory as it will change from week to week..

FOR SALE, I have 2 Beautiful early 1980s JCM 800 lead series 4x12 cabs. Considering their age these cabs are in great condition and still sound amazing.

Here by popular demand and fresh off the bench is a black face fender Princeton Reverb clone. 100% hand wired and hand built right here in Bay City. The chassis comes stock with period correct NOS tubes (no jj's) and JBL 10" speaker.

Hello friends.
So Kelly and I always like to plan out our vacations a few months ahead of time. This gives the kids and the grandkids Time to prepare and figure out how they can survive without us for 15 days..Hahahah (In a sarcastic voice) this year they have 10 days to figure it out.

Here's what scheduled so far.

The shop will be closed tomorrow 8-8-25 for a family reunion weekend.

August 13th closing at 2:00 p.m. bike night in oscoda and my band of brothers (GROUNDED)is hosting.

Then starting Monday August 18th through the end of the month the shop is going to be closed
Back open Monday September 1st 10:00 a.m..

This year Kelly and I are out of here on a multi-state adventure to wherever the bad weather isn't. Northern New York Vermont Maine for lobster dinner? Let's hope so.
It's always an adventure!!!!

Fully serviced and updated. 1971 Fender pro Reverb Fitted with all new caps reverb driver power cord and a couple exquisite little updates. This amp has tons of mojo and was restored using all NOS period correct RCA Sylvania and general Electric tubes.

Today's project was the resurrection of a molested Traynor YBA1. Starting with a full re-recap I removed all the components that never should have been installed in the first place and put this beast back to factory specs. After a good clean up (using the kick ass cleaner method) I made the right decision to use these special tubes hahah.
Some of you will know what's behind the logo on those tubes and few people might even know why I used them.

This Blaupunkt model 2623 from 1960 needed a lot of work but that work worked out. Full recap restore, cleaned polished both open air tuners and installed new period correct NOS tubes and gave this a damn good cleaning..

This fender deluxe reissue was purchased in November of 2024. Sadly after a puff of smoke and a blown circuit breaker the amp was laid to rest early February 2025. I purchased it for the cabinet and went to work. The power transformer and 20 watt output transformer are straight from hayboer, the reverb driver is out of a Mesa boogie Mark IV B.

Starting with the stripped chassis this amp has been resurrected as a more honest version of a 65 deluxe reverb re-re issue.
