Chicago Northwest serves locations between Mundelein and Woodstock, Barrington / Algonquin and the WI state line Paul Nelis is the owner of the Chicago Northwest territory of CMIT Solutions. Paul brings more than 35 years of IT and business experience to his customers in the area, and collaborates closely with other franchisees across the nation. While Paul started out on the Help Desk of a french
bank, he quickly rose to run that help desk, before moving into consulting, where he helped companies world-wide with client server and database design, implementation, and performance management. It was in this role that Paul first ran a managed service, for Allstate Insurance Company. Managed Services have been part of his career ever since, whether developing, selling and running them for consulting companies or acquiring them as part of a corporate strategy for infrastructure management. He’s run Managed Services for the likes of Allstate, McDonald’s Corp, the states of Rhode Island, and New York. Paul has direct experience in consumer packaged goods, logistics, manufacturing, food service, finance, state and local government, retail, healthcare, legal, pharma, and other industry verticals. Most recently, concluding a term as the CIO for a $750 million healthcare company, Paul decided to bring his consulting and managed services skills to the companies close to his home, in Wauconda, IL.
