Have you noticed your older computer running slower than it used to? A common culprit is an older mechanical hard disk drive, or HDD.
Unlike the modern Solid State Drive (or SSD), an HDD has moving parts and spinning disks. SSDs have no moving parts and can access files, launch programs, and boot Windows much faster.
Replacing an old HDD with an SSD can be a relatively quick and affordable way to give an older computer a noticeable increase in performance, without having to replace the entire machine.
Even if you purchased your computer more recently, it may be worth checking if an older drive is holding it back.
If you're dealing with a slow computer, or you're not sure whether your machine has an HDD or SSD, please feel free to send me a message! I'd be happy to take a look and let you know if a hard drive upgrade is the way to go!
