Before replacing the battery, try these. Check battery usage details (iPhone: Settings → Battery → Battery Usage; Samsung: Settings → Battery and Device Care → Battery Usage) — you may find one app consuming dramatically more than it should. Turn off Background App Refresh for apps that don't need it. Audit location services: anything set to "Always" is running GPS constantly. Reduce screen brightness — it's the single biggest battery consumer. Use Wi-Fi instead of cellular when possible — cellular radio uses significantly more power, especially with weak signal. If you implement all of this and the battery still can't get through the day, the battery itself is degraded. On iPhone, Settings → Battery → Battery Health below 80% is the threshold. Battery replacement at Mobile Lizard is under an hour for most models. Walk-ins welcome.
