Firstly from everyone at Towbid we would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by the devastating hurricane that struck last week. With that being said now that rescue efforts in most areas are being wrapped up it’s time to start cleaning up and rebuilding. As of Wednesday Towbid has personnel with boots on the ground in some areas of Western North Carolina and the gulf coast of Florida. We are actively seeking partners to assist in the clean up as far as removing and transporting damaged / abandoned vehicles to a holding yard so they can be processed. We are working with another of insurance companies and warranty companies along with handling some overflow of motor club companies.
What we need now is 2 car carries for transport and small sn**ch trucks (preferably with recovery booms) to retrieve vehicles.
Companies will be compensated as follows:
$2000 a day per Sn**ch truck
$2750 per day per 2 car carrier
Hotels will be paid for if available if not you will be given a per diem and unfortunately have to figure out lodging on your own (if bringing a camper we have space available)
Fuel has been and will be an issue we are working to have some tankers brought in and fuel will be made available to you as it is available( at no cost to you) but please count on having to occasionally fuel on your own (meaning you will pay for it)
We will setup a repair area where we will have some tools / compressor / tire machine and 2 full time mechanics for repairs and service. We ask that you just cover the parts we will handle the labor.
