We had a great time last week at the Maryland Tech Council Chesapeake Regional Chapter’s Barbecue by the Bay. We got to see some old friends and got to meet some new ones. Here is the team manning our table.

Attended another great event hosted by Maryland Tech Council‘s Chesapeake Regional Chapter...their ChesaPitch event was a big hit. I had the opportunity to meet some great people heading up the companies found in the brochure; Dr. Misty Blowers at Datalytica, FEM Equity, Kuya, NextStep, Signal Edge and Jesse Alton at Virgent AI . All attendees that listened to their presentations gained tremendous insight on how these companies located in the MidAtlantic/ region, support and help their customers do better business by utilizing their state-of-the-art technology. Although all were winners that evening, congratulations to Signal Edge Corporation and their Pitch Man, David Edgar for being judged as the top presentation and technology showcased that evening. Nice to meet the panel of judges and spend time with them as well; Ariana Eichler Vijay L. Troy Stovall.

Are you excited as we are that the industry is now recognizing Neurosymbolic AI which combines neural networks and knowledge-guided symbolic approaches to create more capable and flexible AI systems. This is an approach we have championed and have been on the forefront of. AI systems that are adaptive to change, low energy emitting, scalable. Human reactions drives training of our AI to process, react, and prioritize in accordance with the operator’s general knowledge and requirements. This turns out to be a much needed force multiplier.
