Healthcare organizations face a unique cybersecurity challenge. They manage some of the most sensitive information imaginable, including patient records, insurance data, financial details, and protected health information (PHI). At the same time, they rely on interconnected systems, medical devices, cloud applications, and remote access technologies that increase their exposure to cyber threats. As a result, managed security services have become a necessity rather than a luxury for modern healthcare providers.

Cybercriminals increasingly target healthcare organizations because patient data is highly valuable on the black market. Unlike a stolen credit card number, which can be canceled quickly, medical records contain long-lasting personal information that can be used for identity theft, insurance fraud, and other forms of cybercrime.

Today’s business landscape feels more competitive than ever, especially for small businesses. Large enterprises are expanding rapidly, acquiring competitors, and leveraging their scale to dominate market share. With bigger budgets, larger teams, and more resources, they often seem impossible to compete with. But the reality is shifting, and fast. Technology, particularly AI, is leveling the playing field. Small businesses no longer need massive infrastructure or large teams to operate efficiently. With the rise of AI agents, even a small company can compete with larger organizations by working smarter, not harder. AI agents are intelligent systems that can understand goals, plan tasks, and take action across business processes. Unlike basic automation tools, they don’t just follow rules—they can make decisions and execute multi-step workflows with minimal human involvement.

Strong cybersecurity reduces risk — but it can't eliminate it. See how Colden Company and Beck Agency deliver a complete cyber resilience strategy for your business.

At Colden Company, cybersecurity is what we do every day. We design environments that reduce exposure, strengthen defenses, and stop threats before they become incidents. When implemented correctly, those controls work and most attacks never make it through.
Cybersecurity operates in a world of probabilities. Risk can be reduced significantly, but it never reaches zero. This reflects the nature of an environment where attackers only need one opening, while defenders are responsible for everything.

That reality is exactly why we’ve partnered with Beck Agency, to address the portion of cyber risk that extends beyond technical controls and into business impact.
Cybersecurity Is Working, and Risk Still Exists
Security awareness has improved. Tools are more advanced. Businesses are more prepared than they were even a few years ago.

In today’s digital-first world, your website is often the first interaction a prospect has with your business. In fact, internal marketing data shows that the website serves as the primary means of collecting lead information. But simply having traffic isn’t enough—what matters is converting those visitors into real opportunities. That’s where an AI-powered chatbot agent becomes a critical tool.

Capture Leads in Real Time
Most website visitors won’t fill out a traditional contact form. They browse, gather information, and leave—often anonymously. An AI chatbot changes that dynamic by engaging visitors instantly. It can greet users, ask relevant questions, and collect key information such as name, company, email, and business needs.

Instead of losing potential leads, businesses gain actionable data and create a pipeline of qualified prospects automatically.

Engage Visitors 24/7
Unlike your sales team, a chatbot never sleeps.

Microsoft 365 pricing is changing, but the bigger story may be hidden in your current licensing stack. If your business is using Microsoft 365 Business Standard plus separate tools for email security, identity protection, device management, or compliance, you may already be spending close to the cost of Business Premium. This article explains why the July pricing changes are a smart time to review your Microsoft environment and look for a more secure, streamlined approach.

Microsoft has announced upcoming pricing adjustments across several Microsoft 365 plans beginning July 1. While price increases are rarely welcome, this partic

One of the biggest challenges for MSPs like Colden Company isn't just about technology—it's about mindset. Many businesses still see IT as a cost to cut, not an investment to grow. In Orlando this week at Channel Company’s XChange conference. A lot of discussion around AI — not just what it can do for productivity, but the security implications that come with it.

One takeaway that stood out: organizations need to start thinking about AI as a new security surface that requires governance, not just another tool employees experiment with.

Looking forward to bringing some of these insights back to our clients.

My family and I always enjoy watching the Olympics every few years. As a (former) downhill skier, I particularly enjoy watching the speed racing events at the Winter Games whether it is downhill skiing, speed skating or cross-country racing. As a child, I remember visiting Lake Placid, NY during the 1980 games as it was close to home at the time and I imagined myself competing for gold someday.

Imagine competing in an event like speed skating where you line up opposite your opponent to see who is fastest. But when you glance over you see your competitor is outfitted with a jetpack on his or her back! They are going to have an unfair advantage using that as a tool while you are racing the way you always have. That is how it should feel if you are not embracing AI (Artificial Intelligence) in your business. Your competitors are using a tool that will give them a massive advantage over you which you will not be able to compete against.

AI is a transformative technology.
