🔒 5 Tips for Safe Internet Browsing
️⃣ Check the URL. Fake sites often swap a letter or two (think “amaz0n.com”). If it looks off, don’t enter anything.
️⃣ Look for the padlock. “https” and the lock icon mean your connection is encrypted. If a site asks for personal info without it, leave.
️⃣ Don’t click unexpected links. Emails, texts, and messages urging you to “act now” are classic phishing. When in doubt, go to the site directly.
️⃣ Keep your browser updated. Updates patch security holes hackers love to use.
️⃣ Use a password manager. Unique passwords for every site means one breach doesn’t turn into ten.
