“AAA Bag” — part of my ongoing Bag Collection, a series I began in 2009 exploring the archaeology of contemporary culture through the objects we carry with us.

This piece is now heading to London with a powerful Texas businesswoman whose journey, ambition, and layered identity felt deeply connected to the work itself—a portrait without a portrait. 😮‍💨 A life mapped through fragments, symbols, luxury, memory, technology, play, and movement.

From Texas to London ✈️👜🌟
The story continues.

Visited this storytelling mural, created for a private residence in Austin last year. Looks so fresh and crispy!

Filled with hidden family history, personal symbols, nature, and imagined worlds woven into one immersive landscape.

Projects like this are especially meaningful because the mural becomes part of everyday life: morning coffee views, reflections in the water, quiet evenings outside, gatherings with friends and family.

Grateful to the homeowners for trusting my vision and allowing me to turn their home into a colorful world of its own.

Happy National Space Day 🚀✨

Space exploration stands as one of humanity’s most powerful expressions of curiosity—the desire to go beyond what we know and imagine what’s possible. It serves as a reminder that discovery begins with a question, a vision, or a step into the unknown.

That same energy exists in art. Every new piece is a form of exploration—seeking meaning, form, and connection.

Looking up always leads us back to something deeper inside.

Love sharing artworks from different collections and a mural that already no longer exist, along with pictures from Lunar Vault and NASA Space Centers.

Grateful to create a mural at the Mill Street Youth Center in New Braunfels, TX.

Such an amazing, open, and inspiring space with deep roots in the city's history.

Working alongside the teens made this experience especially powerful. Their curiosity, ideas, and honesty shaped the process in real time. It reminded me why public art matters — it becomes a mirror, a voice, and sometimes a starting point.

Pleased to contribute a work to this year’s Paramount Theatre Gala auction.

Supporting institutions like the Paramount Theatre & State Theatre means sustaining spaces where culture is experienced collectively — where stories, music, and ideas continue to shape the city.

Excited to see this piece contributing to a cause that keeps Austin’s artistic ecosystem thriving.

People often ask artists about their inspiration. I live in a remarkable place on Earth, and painting the local urban and natural beauty is what drives me to create. Texas is bright and powerful. If it rains, it pours; if it shines, it burns. I would not have it any other way.

“Sophia the Robot” — Limited Edition Canvas (1/10) with Augmented Reality feature.

A reflection on the tension between artificial intelligence and human essence. As technology evolves, this piece honors the ultimate act of creation—the power of women to bring life into the world.

A rare, collector-only edition.

I had an amazing January 2026, filled with new work projects and lots of exciting family events, from taking a trip to California to visit friends to attending our son's first puppet show and finishing a secret (for now) public art project and starting new ones.
I am feeling so happy and grateful. My heart is beating faster with excitement for all the great things that are going to happen this year!

And, yes, you can have both a career and a family when you have an outstanding art manager like my wife
