Job Title: AV Installer
Location: Austin and Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Part-Time/Contract

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Installer to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing seamless AV experiences.
**Job Description:**
As an AV Installer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of audio-visual systems, including projectors, sound systems, video walls, conferencing equipment, and control systems. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and ensure that each installation is completed to the highest standards. You will also be installing Motorized Shades for interior and Exterior applications as well as landscape lighting and Yard Audio Solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Install and configure AV equipment, including projectors, screens, audio systems, video conferencing systems, and more.
- Run cables, mount equipment, and ensure all connections are secure and functional.
- Conduct on-site testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide client training and support on using AV systems.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, including sales, project managers, and technical support.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as an AV Installer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, equipment, and installation techniques.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with low-voltage wiring and basic electrical work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AVIXA CTS, CEDIA) are a plus.
- Knowledge of Rack building is a plus
- Knowledge is Savant Control Systems or any relevant system is a plus as well.
