Jensen Huang announced this at Computex this morning (June 1, 2026).

Here’s what we know via Anthropic:

Launch Date

RTX Spark laptops are confirmed to launch in October 2026. ļæ¼ Nvidia says it will release more detailed performance metrics closer to when the chip hits the market in the fall. ļæ¼

The Chip

The RTX Spark is Nvidia’s first processor built specifically for Windows PCs — an Arm-based chip combining a 20-core Grace CPU (built with MediaTek), a Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores, an NPU, and up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory on a single TSMC 3nm package, capable of 1 petaFLOP of AI performance. ļæ¼ It’s roughly equivalent to Nvidia’s RTX 5070 laptop GPU in performance. ļæ¼

Pricing

Devices start at $1,499, with five OEM partners — Microsoft Surface, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo — shipping initial devices. ļæ¼ Specific models with estimated pricing:

• ASUS ROG Flow Z14 — 14-inch gaming convertible with OLED display, up to Spark RTX 5080 SKU. From $2,299. ļæ¼

• Dell XPS 15 Arm Edition — Snapdragon X Elite Gen 2 plus Spark RTX 5070, 99.5 Wh battery. Starting at $1,899. ļæ¼

• HP Spectre x360 16 — 3K+ OLED touchscreen, Spark RTX 5060, with local AI features. From $1,699. ļæ¼

• Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra — pricing not yet disclosed. ļæ¼

Additional models from Acer and GIGABYTE are also expected to follow the initial launch wave. ļæ¼

The big picture: this is the first time Nvidia silicon has powered a Windows PC as its primary processor, ending Intel and AMD’s decades-long duopoly in the PC space. ļæ¼

Gruber’s intro to his analysis of the article: ā€œFor The New Yorker, Ronan Farrow and Andrew Marantz go deep profiling Sam Altman under the mince-no-words headline ā€œSam Altman May Control Our Future — Can He Be Trusted?ā€ 16,000+ words — roughly one-third the length of The Great Gatsby — very specifically investigating Altman’s trustworthiness, particularly the details surrounding his still-hard-to-believe ouster by the OpenAI board in late 2023, only to return within a week and purge the board.

The piece is long, yes, but very much worth your attention — it is both meticulously researched and sourced, and simply enjoyable to read. Altman, to his credit, was a cooperative subject, offering Farrow and Marantz numerous interviews during an investigation that Farrow says took over a year and half.ā€

ā€œIf Goodall’s episode is any indicator, we can expect future episodes to include candid opinions from famous people no longer worried about potential public backlash. Goodall was never particular shy about speaking her mind, but she minces no words in what appears to be her final interview:

ā€œAbsolutely there are people I don’t like, and I would like to put them on one of Musk’s spaceships and send them all off to the planet he’s sure he’s going to discover … He’d be the host … Along with Musk would be Trump … And then I would put Putin in there. And I would put President Xi. I’d certainly put Netanyahu in there, and his far-right government. Put them all on that spaceship and send them off.ā€ – Jane Goodall

In what is likely her final interview, Goodall pulls no punches.

DHH's politics are not normal. Maybe they used to be, I don't know, but as of right now the dude is way outside of what most people would consider moral or acceptable.
