From Atlanta to Boston, The Agentic Quality Tour brought together 85 quality and engineering leaders to talk about what AI is changing—and what it isn’t.

We heard real stories of AI adoption, lessons from the field, and practical perspectives on building quality as software development gets faster.

The takeaway that stayed with us:

AI is making it easier to ship software. Building trust in what we ship is becoming the defining challenge.

Thank you to every speaker, partner, and attendee who made these two stops memorable. 💜

The conversation continues.

Can AI agents really debug a failed deployment for you?

When a deployment fails, engineers can spend 40–50 minutes digging through logs, tracing commits, gathering evidence, and figuring out what actually went wrong.

In the latest episode of The Agentic Quality Podcast, Vasu Raj Jain, Senior Software Engineer at Amazon Ads, joins host Tatyana Arbouzova to talk about how that’s changing.

From behavioral testing and flaky tests to AI-powered debugging, observability, trust boundaries, and human-in-the-loop decisions, they explore what it really takes to test and operate non-deterministic systems.

Vasu also shares the approach that helped move from flaky tests to 1,000+ deployments a year.

From flaky tests to 1,000+ deployments a year.

In the next episode of *The Agentic Quality Podcast, Vasu Jain from Amazon Ads shares why traditional testing struggled with a system where outputs constantly change, and what happened when the team started validating **behavior instead of fixed outputs.

The conversation goes deeper into AI agents, observability, trust, human-in-the-loop decisions, and what it really takes to test non-deterministic systems.

**How can manual testers keep up as AI changes the way we work?**

In Episode 10 of **The Agentic Quality Podcast**, Aaron Patrick Doherty, Head of AI & RevOps at Chowly, shares a simple message for testers: **don’t be afraid of AI—start using it.**

These tools can help manual testers do things they may never have thought possible and expand what they’re capable of doing day to day.

But Aaron also highlights the other side of AI adoption: **governance**.

As organizations give more people access to AI tools, leaders need to understand who is using them, what they’re being used for, how much they’re costing, and ultimately—**what value they’re creating for the organization.**

AI adoption isn’t just about giving everyone a license. It’s about empowering people while creating the right expectations around how those tools are used.

What advice would you give a QA leader who's just starting their AI adoption journey?

That's the question we asked Dave Sommer, Vice President of Global Quality Engineering at Korn Ferry, in Episode 9 of The Agentic Quality Podcast.

Dave shares why teams should first understand what they're trying to accomplish and where AI can provide the most value—rather than jumping straight into building or adopting tools.

He also discusses why QA professionals shouldn't fear AI and how these tools can help people accomplish things that previously felt out of reach.
