New Firmware Update Available for WalTech 2.0 Thermostats
We’ve released a new firmware update for your WalTech 2.0 thermostat!

Before downloading, please check your current configuration on the “Info Screen.”( take a pic )
This ensures your settings are available if needed and ready for the update.

When the update is available, you’ll see a firmware upload pop-up on your screen.
If you press “Skip,” the system will wait for 5 minutes before showing the upload options again — giving you another chance to install it at your convenience.

Hello everyone,

We're thrilled to announce that we've released a new firmware update! Our team has been working tirelessly to improve WalTech, and we're happy to share that the latest firmware is now stable and incorporates the right logics to enhance your experience.

The new firmware (version 9 A/B. VC 45) corrects and fixes many issues, making our product more reliable and efficient. We highly encourage all our customers to update to this latest version to enjoy these improvements.

🔧 How to Update:
When your device is switched on and connected to the internet, you will see a firmware pop-up prompting you to update the firmware. Click on "Okay" and then keep the device uninterrupted until the entire process is completed. It will bring the device back to the screen where you select your controller (your old thermostat that was replaced), allowing you to select the controller that you replaced, such as Coleman, Dometic, etc. If you are unsure, please take a picture of your info screen before you do the firmware update. This will have your current system configuration.

📈 Post-Update Note:
After the firmware update, you might notice that the room temperature displayed is higher. Just reboot the device after the update and keep it uninterrupted for 1 hour. It will automatically calibrate to your room temperature.
