The Mad Hatter was definitely day drinking. 🫖🍋
We hosted a tea party recently, and while the scones and tea sandwiches were lovely… the Earl Grey mimosas and spiked Arnold Palmers were the reason nobody left early. 😂

Inspired by the Adventures in Wonderland: Alice's Tea Party + Cocktails book — one of those finds that turns "let's have people over" into an actual theme without any extra work.

Brew the Earl Grey, add the bubbly, and suddenly you're a hostess with the mostess.

This is what happens when you let Amazon do the heavy lifting and your own creativity do the rest. The inflatable boombox, the light-up disco balls, and the inflatable guitar were all Amazon finds + my daughter's own stuffed animals to create a party vibe totally personal and totally 80s.

My daughter became obsessed with the 80s after watching Stranger Things and I wanted every corner of this party to feel like she had stepped into that world. Glow balls made the whole room feel like a dance floor. Inflatables were fun photo opportunities.

Low cost, maximum impact — that's the whole philosophy here.

The Creeper favor bags? Black and green gift bags, 12 for $7, with cut-out paper Minecraft faces glued on. The candy bar was stocked with green rock sugar lollipops, shark gummies, pear jelly beans, green Hershey kisses, malt balls, and lime almond bark — mostly green, blue, and brown to stay on theme.

Amazon paper decorations set the theme while personalized photo lanterns, printed at home and hung with green ribbon and tape - made it completely his. Nothing fancy. Nothing expensive.
