I need to issue an apology to anyone who comes into our shop today. Soupfest 2026 has begun, and since we make our own soup stocks and it takes all day, the place smells like ham stock. We try REALLY hard to make sure it never smells like much of anything in here, but sometimes we can't help it.
If scents are a problem for you, or if the smell of ham is a problem, please accept our apology for the inconvenience and be assured, by Monday it'll be back to normal.

We are having a crazy week! Several appointments, some are far away and others complicated. As a result, I will not be able to open Griswold this week, and we are closing Atlantic for the day at Noon-thirty on Thursday.
We are hosting the samples stand at Produce in the Park on Thursday evening, though! They're letting us handle sweet peppers and hand them out to innocent bystanders who get too close. Come check it out and watch us dealing with sharp objects without adult supervision!

We aren't going to make it to Griswold today. It's storming with more storms lining up behind it; would be a very unpleasant drive. I'm not expecting anyone and I don't have any work to do there today.

I'm sorry, we're not opening Griswold today; I'm not well. Randy will be in town long enough to attend the Betterment meeting at 10:00 at City Hall this week - open to all! - and then will head back to Atlantic.
But if you see him, wish him a Happy Birthday!

Just posting to say we ARE OPEN on Friday 4/3 until 4:00. :-) Since we're closing an hour early, we will not close for lunch.

Due to problems we're having with our card processor, Not-A-Circle, we're sorry to announce that we can't accept cards for a while. It seems that Not-A-Triangle-Either's security, which was designed to protect our financial information by adding levels of security responses, only managed to inconvenience us instead, allowing someone to attach an illegal bank account to our Not-A-Trapezoid account.
The response by the processing company, which is called "Which-Shape-Is-Left?" is to start randomly taking money from our account to pay for overages committed by the illegal appendage. Which they've known about for months, which will lead to us cutting our business with them and going with a new POS service. Until we get it all set up, we're only able to accept checks and cash. We're sorry for the inconvenience!
