I’m a designer but I’m a problem solver FIRST.

Logo design is only part of what I do. I build identities. I think about how the mark works small, big, embroidered, printed, on a website, on a shirt, on a building, in black and white and everywhere else your business might show up.

Pretty is cool.

Functional is better.

Memorable is the goal. BrandDesigner BrandIdentity LogoDesign BrandStrategy CreativeDirection GraphicDesign AtlantaBusiness BlackOwnedBusiness SmallBusinessBranding ATL

A logo ain’t supposed to just look cool.

It’s supposed to solve a damn problem.

For WOLFPACK WICK, the assignment was bigger than “make me a dog training logo.”

The brand needed to communicate discipline, control, confidence and precision.

The name immediately gave me that John Wick energy. Calm. Calculated. Dangerous if necessary 😂

But this ISN’T a bite-work brand.

That distinction mattered.

I didn’t want dogs snarling, chains everywhere and the typical “my dog will eat your ass” aesthetic 😂

The real flex here is CONTROL.

A powerful dog going crazy at the end of a leash is one thing.

A powerful dog with NO leash, completely focused on its handler waiting for the next command?

That says something different.

So I built the identity around that relationship.

The trainer represents leadership.

The dogs represent power under control.

The silhouettes give the brand a visual story.

The composition and negative space create another layer of meaning.

And the whole thing had to survive outside of my computer.

Hat.
Hoodie.
Training gear.
Embroidery.
Print.
Social.
Black and white.
Big as hell.
Tiny as hell.

Because if your logo only works at 12 inches wide on a white Illustrator artboard…

you might have a cool picture.

You don’t necessarily have a good logo. 😂

That’s why I don’t start with “What would look dope?”

I start with…

What does this business need to SAY?

Then I make that mf look dope.

Swipe through the anatomy of WOLFPACK WICK and see the thinking behind the mark.

I don’t just make logos.

I build identities with something to say.
